Using this site

You're welcome to read it, link to it and share it. The words, pictures and code are ours, or used with permission, so please don't copy the site itself and pass it off as your own.

We try to keep everything here accurate and current, but the site describes what we do; it isn't a contract. What we actually agree with you is written down separately, per project, before any work starts.

Please don't use the site or its forms to send junk, to poke at how it's built, or to request reviews of websites you have no connection to.

The free site audit

The audit is an automated review of a website's public pages, written by software we built, and it goes to you as written. We get a copy at the same time you do; nobody reads it before it leaves.

It's information and opinion, not a guarantee. It reads only what the public can see, it can miss things, and it can get things wrong. Use it to start a conversation, not as the last word on your business.

Only ask for a review of a website you own or are allowed to speak for. Asking for one costs nothing and commits you to nothing; it also doesn't commit us to building anything. We limit how many reviews one connection, browser or email address can request, and how many we send in a day. If you're turned away, email hello@unhiddendigital.com and we'll look at your site ourselves.

Working with us

Three things are true of every project, and they don't change from client to client.

• We build once. When the build is done, it's done. Any care afterwards is optional, and there's no retainer you have to sign to get the site.
• You own everything. The site, the domain, and every account we set up are yours, in your name, from the start. If we ever part ways, you keep all of it and we hand over whatever we're holding.
• The details go in writing first. Each project's scope, price and timeline are agreed before work starts, and that written agreement is what governs the project. Where it differs from this page, it wins.

What we can't promise

We build sites to be found and to earn trust, and we'll always tell you what we've seen happen for real clients without dressing it up. But search engines, AI assistants and your customers decide for themselves. Nobody can guarantee a ranking, a number of leads or a revenue figure, and we won't.

If something goes wrong

We do our work carefully. If something we did causes a problem, tell us and we'll put it right. Beyond that, our responsibility for any loss connected to this site or to the free site audit is limited as far as the law allows, and for paid work it's set out in that project's agreement.
